SUMMARY:Cuddles for Kids
DESCRIPTION:This project was created by the 2018 Leadership Dickinson participants. It is through this project that we will deliver the gift of comfort to children facing unimaginable crises in our community in the form of a cuddly teddy bear. Children who find themselves at social services\, the hospital\, or the fire department will receive a teddy bear stuffed animal bearing a handwritten note of support from a child in one of our elementary schools.\n\n\n\n\n\nWe are a group of high school seniors who make up the 2018 Leadership Dickinson participants. We represent both Dickinson and Trinity High Schools\, and are supported by the Dickinson Chamber of Commerce. Our group was designed to foster leadership skills through discussions with local leaders and innovators so that we might become trailblazers\, ground-breakers\, and trendsetters.
