Welcome to the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce's brand new website and blog!
My name is Esmae Stradling, and I am honored to serve as the Executive Director of the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce. Whether you're a Chamber member, local business owner, community partner, or simply interested in what's happening in Dickinson, we're excited to have you here.
As part of our new website launch, we're introducing this blog as a place to keep our members and community informed about upcoming events, Chamber news, business resources, community initiatives, and opportunities to get involved. Our goal is to create a space where you can stay connected to the people, businesses, and organizations that help make Dickinson such a vibrant place to live, work, and do business.

Summer is Heating Up at the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce!
Summer is one of the busiest and most exciting seasons at the Dickinson Area Chamber of Commerce, and we have a full lineup of events designed to bring our business community together, celebrate local success, support future entrepreneurs, and create lasting connections.
Whether you're looking to network on the golf course, celebrate agriculture, cheer on young entrepreneurs, compete with coworkers, or join us for one of our signature community celebrations, there is something for everyone this summer.
8th Annual Chamber Golf Scramble
Thursday, July 9th | Heart River Golf Course
We're teeing up another fantastic day on the greens for our 8th Annual Chamber Golf Scramble! This event continues to be one of our most popular networking opportunities, bringing together Chamber members, business leaders, and community supporters for a day of friendly competition and relationship building.
With only a few team spots remaining, now is the perfect time to gather your team and register before the course fills up.
Businesses looking for additional exposure can still take advantage of several sponsorship opportunities, including Presenting Sponsor, Drink Sponsor, Cart Sponsor, and Hole Sponsor packages. With more than 150 golfers and attendees expected, sponsorship provides excellent visibility and engagement opportunities.
We look forward to seeing everyone on the course for a day that is sure to be above par!
Banquet in a Field

One of the Chamber's most unique and anticipated events returns this summer as we gather once again for Banquet in a Field.
This special evening celebrates the vital role agriculture plays in our region while bringing together producers, business leaders, elected officials, and community members for an unforgettable experience under the North Dakota sky.

Brand a Stand - Youth Entrepreneur Day

Our future business leaders are preparing to shine at this year's Brand a Stand Youth Entrepreneur Day!
Brand a Stand gives young entrepreneurs the opportunity to create, market, and operate their own drink and snack businesses while learning valuable skills in customer service, branding, budgeting, and entrepreneurship.
Participants will be evaluated by local business and community leaders on creativity, presentation, customer service, and taste. The event consistently showcases the incredible talent, innovation, and determination of young people throughout our community.
The winner of the Best Taste Award will earn the opportunity to showcase their stand at Sax Motor Co.'s Annual Car Show on August 1, providing an additional opportunity to grow their business and gain real-world experience.
A special thank you goes to ConocoPhillips and Sax Motor Co. for investing in the next generation of entrepreneurs and helping make this event possible.

Held once again at Dakota Community Bank & Trust Field, Corporate Cup offers businesses the opportunity to strengthen workplace relationships, build team morale, and compete against fellow businesses in a variety of fun challenges.
Whether your team is focused on winning the championship trophy or simply enjoying a day outside the office, Corporate Cup provides something for everyone.

Celebrating 120 Years: 119th Annual Chamber Banquet

This year marks an incredible milestone as we celebrate 120 years of Chamber service to the Dickinson area.
To honor this achievement, we're reimagining our Annual Banquet experience. Traditionally held as an evening event in the spring, the banquet will now take place as a late-summer luncheon. Weather permitting, we are also planning to host the event outdoors, creating a fresh new atmosphere for this long-standing tradition.
The Annual Banquet serves as an opportunity to celebrate our business community, recognize outstanding leaders and organizations, and reflect on the Chamber's rich history while looking ahead to the future.
Chamber Choice Awards
As part of the Annual Banquet celebration, nominations are now being accepted for the Chamber Choice Awards. Community members are encouraged to nominate deserving businesses and individuals in the following categories:
- Young Professionals Best Place to Work
- Entrepreneur of the Year
- Chamber Volunteer of the Year
- Business of the Year (25+ Employees)
- Small Business of the Year (Under 25 Employees)
- Non-Profit of the Year
The nomination survey takes only a minute to complete and helps recognize the people and organizations making a difference throughout our region. (Survey closes on June 15th)

Harvest Festival

As summer transitions into fall, we'll wrap up the season with our 11th Annual Harvest Festival at the West River Ice Center.
Harvest Festival brings together businesses, families, and community organizations for an evening filled with fun, connection, and celebration. More details will be announced in the coming weeks, but be sure to save the date now and plan to join us for another great community event.
